Our Contributions

Debt Settlement America's company Mission Statement is to give everyone that enrolls into our debt settlement program a fresh start in life, after partnering with them to resolve their unsecured debt problems. It is not simply a fancy set of words here at our offices but that statement is a living and breathing testament to our team of professionals to go above and beyond to achieve that goal.

One of the many ways we strive to live out our Mission Statement throughout the year is to give back to deserving charity organization that also have a passion to reach out to those hurting from unfortunate circumstances.

Here are just of the few projects we've been actively involved in offering a hand up, not a hand out.

2007 Holiday Charity Project - Adopted two refugee families from Somalia and Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC).

Who better deserve a 'fresh start in life" than families who are running away from ethnic cleansing, slavery and murder? Both of these families lived in small villages making their living as herders' people. Each family became refugees during the civil war that has been raging and ravaging their everyday way of life throughout their homeland. Both fathers lost their lives defending their families and allowing the Mothers and Children to escape to a Refuge Camp. Later, these two recovering families settled into the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The children range from ages 1 to 17 and have all the normal needs of any other children throughout our metroplex.

The DSA team became involved in the Adopt a Family Christmas Charity project that allowed by allowing casual day if the employees brought in something for the family or made cash contribution. In total, Debt Settlement America and its employees were able to give every child one to two toys, clothing, socks, and books. The families also received towels and basic necessities like diapers. Debt Settlement America is especially proud of its employees' generous cash contributions to these families. Hopefully, this small but sincere gesture from Debt Settlement America and its employees will give joy and comfort to these needy families during this holiday season.

Also, over 200 clothing and toy items were donated by DSA to the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center to help the child and families they support have a happy and joyful Christmas and Holiday season.

North Texas Food Bank - Charity Casino Event raises food donations for needy families.

DSA employees broke up into three teams with the goal of gathering food donations for this praiseworthy charitable organization. With a Casino team theme, we put on our poker faces and went to work driving each team to build the biggest Jack Pot of food and non-perishable items. The winning team had the privilege and pleasure of delivering "in person" all the Debt Settlement America's donated items to the NTFB warehouse to be distributed to hurting and needy families throughout north Texas. DSA employees donated over 700 food items to the North Texas Food Bank had they provide food to those who are faced with the critical issue of hunger in the North Texas area. Last year they provided assistance for over 500,000 people with the help of companies like Debt Settlement America.

August School Supply Drive - Seeing the smiling faces of under privilege children at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center (DCAC) receiving needed school supplies was worth its weight in gold for DSA employees.

The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and provide national leadership on child abuse issues. DCAC served over 2,000 clients in 2006. DSA set an achievable goal with the combined charitable drives and surpassed that goal attaining a staggering 190% of our original target.

Our DSA employees took great pride in all of these events and knowing that we were able to give back to the community, they exceeded expectations and I am proud to be associated with them." Chris Kesterson, DSA President & CEO proudly declares.
